I try to say ‘thank you’ a lot. It’s one of those little things that does good for both the person who says it and the person that receives it.
And I have a lot to be thankful for.
A couples weeks ago, I said thank you to you for helping us purchase 10 new mattresses for the kids at Palmetto Place Children’s Shelter.
That means 10 abused or neglected children and unaccompanied teens are sleeping on a new mattress, some of whom had never had their own to sleep on before coming to Palmetto Place.
Today, I wanted to give the executive director of Palmetto Place the chance to say how much everyone appreciated your help.
Thank you again. Your generosity helped give these kids joy and the gift of a good night’s sleep.
You did good. You did real good.
